Characteristics!

Pluto lies at the very edge of the solar system. The average time it takes for the suns rays to get there is 5.5 hours. In comparison to the Earth, it only takes 8 min to reach. Pluto has the density of about two times that of water. It is estimated that the core is made up of:

* silicate rock, about 1700 km in diameter.

* which is surrounded by ice, methane, carbon monoxide.

Pluto may have had some internal heating early in its history, it's likely long past and the planet is quite cold and geologically inactive. Plus they belive that there is no reason to expect that Pluto has a magnetic field.
